Recommended tools for some keys
Optional but handy: the spudger lifts the key without scratching or bending the mechanism, and the thin blade of the flat screwdriver unhooks the plastic hinge and helps clip it back in.

On these keyboards, this genuine MX Keys key takes the place of the official one: same scissor mechanism and mounting, with a legend and finish that may differ slightly.
Where is the Right arrow key and what does it do?
On a full-size Logitech MX Keys, the Right arrow key sits in the inverted T of the arrow keys, to the right of the Down arrow. It moves the cursor one character to the right. With Ctrl it jumps a whole word; with Shift it extends the selection, and the two together select word by word.
About the Right arrow replacement key
Right arrow key broken or gone on your MX Keys? The key on its own, hinge included, goes back in place in a minute. The Right arrow key is a genuine Logitech part, pre-owned, taken from a dismantled keyboard; the rubber dome is not supplied, as the one on your keyboard stays in place.
Compatibility
This Right arrow keycap fits the full-size MX Keys (MX Keys, MX Keys S and MX Keys for Mac), where the arrows are full-height keys; the MX Keys Mini uses half-height arrows of another shape. The legend is that of the QWERTY (PT) layout.
The Right arrow key: position, size and wear
On the full-size MX Keys the arrows are full one-unit keys laid out in an inverted T; on the MX Keys Mini they are half-height keys of another shape, so the two do not swap. An arrow takes long runs of quick presses, and its hinge, with no metal wire under it, is what eventually cracks.
How to install it
The Right arrow key needs no tools: unhook the old cap at a corner, take out any remains of the hinge, clip the supplied hinge in flat, then press the new cap down until you hear the click.
Right arrow key — questions
- Where is the Right arrow key and what does it do?
- On a full-size Logitech MX Keys, the Right arrow key sits in the inverted T of the arrow keys, to the right of the Down arrow. It moves the cursor one character to the right. With Ctrl it jumps a whole word; with Shift it extends the selection, and the two together select word by word.
- Is the Right arrow key compatible with my MX Keys keyboard?
- Yes on a full-size MX Keys (MX Keys, MX Keys S and MX Keys for Mac); no on the MX Keys Mini, whose arrows are half-height keys.
- Is the hinge included with the Right arrow key?
- Yes. The hinge travels in the parcel with the Right arrow key, ready to fit; what you will not find is the rubber dome, which never leaves your keyboard and is sold separately if needed.
- My Right arrow key still doesn't work after I replaced the cap — why?
- If the Right arrow key was unresponsive rather than physically broken, the fault usually lies in its scissor hinge, included here, or in the rubber dome underneath, sold separately. Replace the hinge first, then the dome if the Right arrow key still feels mushy.

You are looking at a Logitech key. Keycap and hinge differ between brands: this key will not fit an Apple keyboard.
