Recommended tools for some keys
Optional but handy: the spudger lifts the key without scratching or bending the mechanism, and the thin blade of the flat screwdriver unhooks the plastic hinge and helps clip it back in.

Where is the / key on the numeric keypad and what does it do?
On a full-size Logitech MX Keys, the / key on the numeric keypad sits at the top of the keypad, between Num Lock and *, above the 8. It types a slash, the division sign, in a calculator or a spreadsheet. Unlike the keypad digits, it does not depend on Num Lock.
About the ÷ (Num) replacement key
The ÷ (Num) key from the Logitech MX Keys numeric keypad, supplied with its hinge, to get a complete keypad back when a key has broken or vanished. No copy here: the ÷ (Num) key comes, pre-owned, from a dismantled keyboard, and arrives without the rubber dome, which stays on yours.
Compatibility
This ÷ (Num) keycap fits the full-size MX Keys (MX Keys, MX Keys S and MX Keys for Mac), the only ones with a numeric keypad: the MX Keys Mini has none, so there is no place for it there. The legend is that of the QWERTZ (DE) layout.
The ÷ (Num) key: position, size and wear
The numeric keypad exists only on the full-size MX Keys, and its keys are hammered in quick one-handed runs during data entry. Like every one-unit key, the ÷ (Num) key has no metal wire underneath: it is held only by its scissor hinge, clipped onto four anchor points. Once one clip gives way, the key tilts, pops off or falls out, while the cap itself is often intact.
How to install it
No tools needed. Lift what is left of the old ÷ (Num) key by one corner, straight up, clear away any pieces of hinge, clip the supplied hinge flat onto its anchor points, then set the new cap on top and press the centre until it clicks.
÷ (Num) key — questions
- Where is the / key on the numeric keypad and what does it do?
- On a full-size Logitech MX Keys, the / key on the numeric keypad sits at the top of the keypad, between Num Lock and *, above the 8. It types a slash, the division sign, in a calculator or a spreadsheet. Unlike the keypad digits, it does not depend on Num Lock.
- Does this ÷ (Num) keycap fit my Logitech MX Keys?
- Yes, if it is a full-size MX Keys (MX Keys, MX Keys S and MX Keys for Mac) in the QWERTZ (DE) layout. The MX Keys Mini has no numeric keypad.
- Is the hinge included with the ÷ (Num) key?
- Yes. The ÷ (Num) key ships with its scissor hinge, so it also fixes a key that lost its clip. The rubber dome under the ÷ (Num) key is not included: yours stays on the keyboard, and a spare can be ordered separately if it is damaged.
- My ÷ (Num) key still doesn't work after I replaced the cap — why?
- A key that goes down normally but types nothing points to the rubber dome, sold separately; if the ÷ (Num) key wobbles, it is the hinge, supplied with it. When several keys next to the ÷ (Num) key fail at the same time, the cause is inside the keyboard, not under the cap.
Check your keyboard's brand
You are looking at a Logitech key. Keycap and hinge differ between brands: this key will not fit an Apple keyboard.
