Recommended tools for some keys
Optional but handy: the spudger lifts the key without scratching or bending the mechanism, and the thin blade of the flat screwdriver unhooks the plastic hinge and helps clip it back in.

About the Arrow Right replacement key
Arrow Right key broken or gone on your MX Keys? The key on its own, hinge included, goes back in place in a minute. A genuine salvaged part: the Arrow Right key is taken, pre-owned, from a dismantled keyboard and shipped without a dome.
Compatibility
This Arrow Right keycap fits the full-size MX Keys (MX Keys, MX Keys S and MX Keys for Mac), where the arrows are full-height keys; the MX Keys Mini uses half-height arrows of another shape. The legend is that of the QWERTY (US) layout.
The Arrow Right key: position, size and wear
On the full-size MX Keys the arrows are full one-unit keys laid out in an inverted T; on the MX Keys Mini they are half-height keys of another shape, so the two do not swap. An arrow takes long runs of quick presses, and its hinge, with no metal wire under it, is what eventually cracks.
How to install it
Allow under a minute to refit the Arrow Right key, bare-handed or with a plastic spudger: free the old hinge if it is broken, clip the new one in the same orientation, then press straight down on the cap until you feel a soft click.
Arrow Right key — questions
- Is the Arrow Right key compatible with my MX Keys keyboard?
- Yes on a full-size MX Keys (MX Keys, MX Keys S and MX Keys for Mac); no on the MX Keys Mini, whose arrows are half-height keys.
- Is the hinge included with the Arrow Right key?
- Yes. The Arrow Right key ships with its scissor hinge, so it also fixes a key that lost its clip. The rubber dome under the Arrow Right key is not included: yours stays on the keyboard, and a spare can be ordered separately if it is damaged.
- My Arrow Right key stays dead despite a new cap — where is the fault?
- A key that goes down normally but types nothing points to the rubber dome, sold separately; if the Arrow Right key wobbles, it is the hinge, supplied with it. When several keys next to the Arrow Right key fail at the same time, the cause is inside the keyboard, not under the cap.
Check your keyboard's brand
You are looking at a Logitech key. Keycap and hinge differ between brands: this key will not fit an Apple keyboard.
