Recommended tools for some keys

Optional but handy: the spudger lifts the key without scratching or bending the mechanism, and the thin blade of the flat screwdriver unhooks the plastic hinge and helps clip it back in.

Compatible with these Logitech keyboards

On these keyboards, this genuine MX Keys key takes the place of the official one: same scissor mechanism and mounting, with a legend and finish that may differ slightly.

Where is the Page Down key and what does it do?

On a full-size Logitech MX Keys, the Page Down key sits in the block to the right of Backspace, to the right of End, below Page Up. It scrolls a document or a web page down by one screen. In most browsers, Ctrl + Page Down moves to the next tab.

About the Page down replacement key

A Page down key for the Logitech MX Keys, supplied with its hinge, to replace a navigation key that cracked, wobbles or went missing. We take the Page down key from dismantled keyboards: it is a genuine, pre-owned Logitech cap, sold without the dome.

Compatibility

This Page down keycap fits the full-size MX Keys (MX Keys, MX Keys S and MX Keys for Mac); the MX Keys Mini has no six-key navigation block. The legend is that of the QWERTY (US) layout.

The Page down key: position, size and wear

The Page down key is part of the six-key block (Insert, Home, Page Up, Delete, End, Page Down) between the main block and the keypad; the MX Keys Mini has no such block. Nothing under it but a scissor hinge, as on a letter key: when a clip tears, the key starts to tilt before it detaches.

How to install it

No tools needed. Lift what is left of the old Page down key by one corner, straight up, clear away any pieces of hinge, clip the supplied hinge flat onto its anchor points, then set the new cap on top and press the centre until it clicks.

4-step guide: repairing a broken MX Keys key

Page down key — questions

Where is the Page Down key and what does it do?
On a full-size Logitech MX Keys, the Page Down key sits in the block to the right of Backspace, to the right of End, below Page Up. It scrolls a document or a web page down by one screen. In most browsers, Ctrl + Page Down moves to the next tab.
Will the Page down key fit my MX Keys?
Yes on a full-size MX Keys (MX Keys, MX Keys S and MX Keys for Mac); the MX Keys Mini has no navigation block.
Is the hinge included with the Page down key?
Yes: cap and hinge arrive together. The dome, the small rubber cup that makes the Page down key spring back, is not part of the order; the one on your keyboard is reused, and a spare dome can be ordered on its own.
My Page down key stays dead despite a new cap — where is the fault?
If the Page down key was unresponsive rather than physically broken, the fault usually lies in its scissor hinge, included here, or in the rubber dome underneath, sold separately. Replace the hinge first, then the dome if the Page down key still feels mushy.

Check your keyboard's brand

You are looking at a Logitech key. Keycap and hinge differ between brands: this key will not fit an Apple keyboard.
