QWERTZ (DE) keys for Logitech MX Keys keyboards

The German layout swaps the Y and the Z compared with QWERTY — hence the name — and adds four keys specific to the language: ä, ö, ü and ß. These are the most requested positions of this layout, because they exist on no other. Every key can be ordered individually with its plastic hinge, from €10 for a letter to €18 for the spacebar. This layout ships on the Logitech MX Keys, MX Keys S and MX Keys Mini distributed in Germany and Austria. If you are replacing a common letter, a key from another layout will do the job mechanically; for an ä, ö, ü or ß, you need the German engraving. The keys below are the ones currently in the catalogue.

German or Swiss QWERTZ?

Both swap the Y and the Z. The difference shows on the vowels: the German keyboard engraves ä, ö, ü and carries a ß, while the Swiss keyboard engraves à, é, è and has no ß, since it must serve three languages. If you see a ß to the right of the 0, your keyboard is German or Austrian.
