AZERTY (FR) keys for Logitech MX Keys keyboards

A French AZERTY key can be replaced on its own — there is no need to buy a new keyboard. We sell every position separately: letters, digits, accented characters, modifiers, arrows and the spacebar. Each key ships with its X-shaped plastic hinge, the part that breaks most often and that most sellers leave out. Prices run from €10 for a letter to €18 for the spacebar. The French AZERTY layout is recognisable by its number row, where digits require the Shift key, and by the ù, é, è and ç characters engraved on the right-hand and bottom rows. It ships on the MX Keys, MX Keys S, MX Keys for Mac and MX Keys Mini sold in France. The keys below are the ones actually in stock today.

How to confirm your keyboard is French AZERTY

Look at the first letter row: it starts with A, Z, E, R, T, Y. Then check the number row — on a French AZERTY, typing a digit requires Shift, whereas Belgian AZERTY produces digits directly. Last check: the key to the right of the M. In France it carries ù and %; in Belgium it sits elsewhere. The reference printed under the keyboard (920-009295, 920-009415…) does not state the layout; only the engraving does.
