Recommended tools for some keys
Optional but handy: the spudger lifts the key without scratching or bending the mechanism, and the thin blade of the flat screwdriver unhooks the plastic hinge and helps clip it back in.

On these keyboards, this genuine MX Keys key takes the place of the official one: same scissor mechanism and mounting, with a legend and finish that may differ slightly.
Where is the keypad Enter key and what does it do?
On a full-size Logitech MX Keys, the keypad Enter key sits at the bottom right of the keypad, two rows tall, below +. It confirms an entry or a calculation, exactly like the main Enter key, placed here so figures can be keyed in with one hand. Num Lock has no effect on it.
About the Enter (Num) replacement key
The Enter (Num) key from the Logitech MX Keys numeric keypad, supplied with its hinge, to get a complete keypad back when a key has broken or vanished. No copy here: the Enter (Num) key comes, pre-owned, from a dismantled keyboard, and arrives without the rubber dome, which stays on yours.
Compatibility
This Enter (Num) keycap fits the full-size MX Keys (MX Keys, MX Keys S and MX Keys for Mac), the only ones with a numeric keypad: the MX Keys Mini has none, so there is no place for it there. The legend is that of the AZERTY (FR) layout.
The Enter (Num) key: position, size and wear
The numeric keypad exists only on the full-size MX Keys, and its keys are hammered in quick one-handed runs during data entry. Two rows tall, the Enter (Num) key is often pressed at one end: the off-centre load works one side of the hinge until it splits, and the key then leans or catches.
How to install it
No tools needed for the Enter (Num) key: free the old cap from one end, clear the broken hinge and clip the new one in the same orientation. Should a metal wire run under the key, seat it in its clips before anything else, then press the middle and finish with both ends.
Enter (Num) key — questions
- Where is the keypad Enter key and what does it do?
- On a full-size Logitech MX Keys, the keypad Enter key sits at the bottom right of the keypad, two rows tall, below +. It confirms an entry or a calculation, exactly like the main Enter key, placed here so figures can be keyed in with one hand. Num Lock has no effect on it.
- Will the Enter (Num) key fit my MX Keys?
- Yes, if it is a full-size MX Keys (MX Keys, MX Keys S and MX Keys for Mac) in the AZERTY (FR) layout. The MX Keys Mini has no numeric keypad.
- Is the hinge included with the Enter (Num) key?
- Yes. The Enter (Num) key ships with its scissor hinge, so it also fixes a key that lost its clip. The rubber dome under the Enter (Num) key is not included: yours stays on the keyboard, and a spare can be ordered separately if it is damaged.
- My Enter (Num) key feels loose or uneven after fitting — what should I check?
- Take the Enter (Num) cap off again and check that the hinge is clipped onto all its anchor points; if a metal wire sits under the key, make sure it is engaged in its clips. Then press the centre of the Enter (Num) key before its ends.
Check your keyboard's brand
You are looking at a Logitech key. Keycap and hinge differ between brands: this key will not fit an Apple keyboard.
