About the Calculator replacement key
Has your MX Keys lost its Calculator key? This is the part on its own, hinge included, so the top row is complete again without a new keyboard. The Calculator key is a genuine Logitech part, pre-owned, taken from a dismantled keyboard; the rubber dome is not supplied, as the one on your keyboard stays in place.
Compatibility
This Calculator keycap fits the full-size MX Keys (MX Keys, MX Keys S and MX Keys for Mac), not the MX Keys Mini, whose top-row caps are shorter. The legend is that of the QWERTY (US) layout. On the MX Keys S, the top-row keys carry different icons, so this key will not match them exactly.
The Calculator key: position, size and wear
The Calculator key belongs to the top row, which drives shortcuts, media and brightness. Pressed less often than a letter, the Calculator key wears more slowly, but its scissor hinge is just as thin: a fingernail, a cloth or an object resting on the keyboard that catches it sideways can tear a clip off.
How to install it
No tools needed. Lift what is left of the old Calculator key by one corner, straight up, clear away any pieces of hinge, clip the supplied hinge flat onto its anchor points, then set the new cap on top and press the centre until it clicks.

- Yes on a full-size MX Keys (MX Keys, MX Keys S and MX Keys for Mac); no on the MX Keys Mini, whose top-row caps are shorter.
- Is the hinge included with the Calculator key?
- Yes. The Calculator key ships with its scissor hinge, so it also fixes a key that lost its clip. The rubber dome under the Calculator key is not included: yours stays on the keyboard, and a spare can be ordered separately if it is damaged.
- My Calculator key stays dead despite a new cap — where is the fault?
- First try the Calculator key on another computer or in another program, to rule out a setting. If it stays silent, look under the cap: with a split hinge it moves crooked; with a crushed or loose dome it goes down without typing.
