About the B replacement key
A replacement B key for the Logitech MX Keys, supplied with its hinge: a letter that pops off, leans or stops typing is a one-minute repair, not a new keyboard. Genuine Logitech and pre-owned, the B key was removed from another keyboard; only the rubber dome is not included.
Compatibility
This B keycap is a one-unit cap from the alphanumeric block: it clips onto the MX Keys, MX Keys S, MX Keys Mini and MX Keys for Mac, which all use the same key size across that block. Only the legend changes from one layout to another; this one is AZERTY (FR).
The B key: position, size and wear
The B key sits on the main typing block, among the most frequently pressed keys on the keyboard. Like every one-unit key, the B key has no metal wire underneath: it is held only by its scissor hinge, clipped onto four anchor points. Once one clip gives way, the key tilts, pops off or falls out, while the cap itself is often intact.
How to install it
Fitting takes no tools. If the old hinge under the B key is split, remove its fragments; seat the one supplied, hold the new cap flat above it and press the middle — a click tells you it is held.

- My B key stays dead despite a new cap — where is the fault?
- A key that goes down normally but types nothing points to the rubber dome, sold separately; if the B key wobbles, it is the hinge, supplied with it. When several keys next to the B key fail at the same time, the cause is inside the keyboard, not under the cap.
