Recommended tools for some keys

Optional but handy: the spudger lifts the key without scratching or bending the mechanism, and the thin blade of the flat screwdriver unhooks the plastic hinge and helps clip it back in.

Compatible with these Logitech keyboards

On these keyboards, this genuine MX Keys key takes the place of the official one: same scissor mechanism and mounting, with a legend and finish that may differ slightly.

Where is the Right arrow key and what does it do?

On a full-size Logitech MX Keys, the Right arrow key sits in the inverted T of the arrow keys, to the right of the Down arrow. It moves the cursor one character to the right. With Ctrl it jumps a whole word; with Shift it extends the selection, and the two together select word by word.

About the Arrow Right replacement key

Arrow Right key broken or gone on your MX Keys? The key on its own, hinge included, goes back in place in a minute. The Arrow Right key is a genuine Logitech part, pre-owned, taken from a dismantled keyboard; the rubber dome is not supplied, as the one on your keyboard stays in place.

Compatibility

This Arrow Right keycap fits the full-size MX Keys (MX Keys, MX Keys S and MX Keys for Mac), where the arrows are full-height keys; the MX Keys Mini uses half-height arrows of another shape. The legend is that of the QWERTZ (CH) layout.

The Arrow Right key: position, size and wear

On the full-size MX Keys the arrows are full one-unit keys laid out in an inverted T; on the MX Keys Mini they are half-height keys of another shape, so the two do not swap. An arrow takes long runs of quick presses, and its hinge, with no metal wire under it, is what eventually cracks.

How to install it

Fitting takes no tools. If the old hinge under the Arrow Right key is split, remove its fragments; seat the one supplied, hold the new cap flat above it and press the middle — a click tells you it is held.

Guide: replacing a broken MX Keys arrow key

Arrow Right key — questions

Where is the Right arrow key and what does it do?
On a full-size Logitech MX Keys, the Right arrow key sits in the inverted T of the arrow keys, to the right of the Down arrow. It moves the cursor one character to the right. With Ctrl it jumps a whole word; with Shift it extends the selection, and the two together select word by word.
Will the Arrow Right key fit my MX Keys?
Yes on a full-size MX Keys (MX Keys, MX Keys S and MX Keys for Mac); no on the MX Keys Mini, whose arrows are half-height keys.
Is the hinge included with the Arrow Right key?
Yes, the X-shaped hinge comes with the Arrow Right key — it is often the part that broke. Only the rubber dome is not supplied: it stays in place on the keyboard under the Arrow Right key, and domes are sold in packs among our spare parts.
My Arrow Right key still doesn't work after I replaced the cap — why?
If the Arrow Right key was unresponsive rather than physically broken, the fault usually lies in its scissor hinge, included here, or in the rubber dome underneath, sold separately. Replace the hinge first, then the dome if the Arrow Right key still feels mushy.

Check your keyboard's brand

You are looking at a Logitech key. Keycap and hinge differ between brands: this key will not fit an Apple keyboard.
