Recommended tools for some keys

Optional but handy: the spudger lifts the key without scratching or bending the mechanism, and the thin blade of the flat screwdriver unhooks the plastic hinge and helps clip it back in.

Compatible with these Logitech keyboards

On these keyboards, this genuine MX Keys key takes the place of the official one: same scissor mechanism and mounting, with a legend and finish that may differ slightly.

Where is the Page Down key and what does it do?

On a full-size Logitech MX Keys, the Page Down key sits in the block to the right of Backspace, to the right of End, below Page Up. It scrolls a document or a web page down by one screen. In most browsers, Ctrl + Page Down moves to the next tab.

About the Page Down replacement key

Page Down key broken or gone on your MX Keys? The key on its own, hinge included, goes back in place in a minute. We take the Page Down key from dismantled keyboards: it is a genuine, pre-owned Logitech cap, sold without the dome.

Compatibility

This Page Down keycap fits the full-size MX Keys (MX Keys, MX Keys S and MX Keys for Mac); the MX Keys Mini has no six-key navigation block. The legend is that of the QWERTZ (CH) layout.

The Page Down key: position, size and wear

The Page Down key is part of the six-key block (Insert, Home, Page Up, Delete, End, Page Down) between the main block and the keypad; the MX Keys Mini has no such block. As a one-unit key with no metal wire, it breaks the way letters do: a split hinge or a torn clip, then a key that leans and finally comes off.

How to install it

No tools needed. Lift what is left of the old Page Down key by one corner, straight up, clear away any pieces of hinge, clip the supplied hinge flat onto its anchor points, then set the new cap on top and press the centre until it clicks.

Page Down key — questions

Where is the Page Down key and what does it do?
On a full-size Logitech MX Keys, the Page Down key sits in the block to the right of Backspace, to the right of End, below Page Up. It scrolls a document or a web page down by one screen. In most browsers, Ctrl + Page Down moves to the next tab.
Does this Page Down keycap fit my Logitech MX Keys?
Yes on a full-size MX Keys (MX Keys, MX Keys S and MX Keys for Mac); the MX Keys Mini has no navigation block.
Is the hinge included with the Page Down key?
Yes, the X-shaped hinge comes with the Page Down key — it is often the part that broke. Only the rubber dome is not supplied: it stays in place on the keyboard under the Page Down key, and domes are sold in packs among our spare parts.
My Page Down key stays dead despite a new cap — where is the fault?
A key that goes down normally but types nothing points to the rubber dome, sold separately; if the Page Down key wobbles, it is the hinge, supplied with it. When several keys next to the Page Down key fail at the same time, the cause is inside the keyboard, not under the cap.

Check your keyboard's brand

You are looking at a Logitech key. Keycap and hinge differ between brands: this key will not fit an Apple keyboard.
